Ami Barragree, 5th Grade
Teacher
Mrs. Barragree has been a 5th grade teacher
at Linwood Elementary School for the past six years. During
her time there she served as NCA Building Chairperson, faculty
representative for the District Technology Planning committee,
and 5th Grade facilitator for the Basehor Linwood Virtual
Charter School. Mrs. Baragree’s knowledge of the fifth
grade curriculum, strong teaching skills, and ability to communicate
high yet reasonable expectations for her students will make
her a valued addition to the Sacred Heart staff. Just as importantly,
she has a deep faith and is looking forward to being able
to incorporate that faith into her teaching as she leads her
students to a greater love and understanding of Jesus Christ
and our Catholic faith.
Mrs. Baragree attended St Mary Elementary
School in Ellis, KS and Thomas Moore Prep – Marion High
School in Hays, KS. She received her Bachelors Degree in Education
with a minor in English from Benedictine College. She and
her family are members of Sacred Heart Parish where she has
volunteered as a teacher in the SOR program.
Message from Mrs. Barragree...
Bienvenidos a nuestra clase! I am very excited to begin teaching
at Sacred Heart School this year. I look forward to meeting
all of my students and their families in August and hope that
everyone is as enthusiastic about exploring the wonders of
fifth grade as I am. I always strive to make learning fun
and interesting, as well as stretching all of my students
to truly become the very best people they can be. God bless
you through the summer and as you begin a new school year
at Sacred Heart School!
