Food for Students
You may have noticed in recent weeks Fr.
Craig and Chef Dave working in the kitchen. They have been
preparing some of our hot lunch entrees this year. This is
being done for several reasons: 1) Chef Dave wants to become
affiliated with the National School Lunch Program; 2) the
entrees are less expensive in cost when they are homemade;
and 3) they are more nutritious. Fr. Craig and Chef Dave have
made delicious spaghetti and meat sauce, macaroni and cheese,
chili and sausage gravy.
Look
for homemade macaroni & cheese on December 2nd; sloppy joes
and fruited jello on December 11th; brownies on December 15th;
pumpkin pie on December 16th; and chili on December 19th .
