Meet the First Grade Teachers

Mrs. Staab

Hi!  My name is Pam Staab.  This is my fifteenth year at Sacred Heart and my fourteenth year teaching first grade.  I attended undergraduate and graduate school at the University of Kansas (rock, chalk, jayhawk!).

My family lives in Olathe, where we are active members of St. Pauls Catholic Church. In my free time I enjoy reading, going out to eat, and relaxing on the beach. :)

I love teaching first graders. They are so eager to learn new things and they put forth the maximum effort. It is always amazing how much knowledge the students soak up during the year.

Mrs. Gardner

Hi!  My name is Jenifer Gardner.  This is my fifth year teaching, and my second year at Sacred Heart.  I am very excited about having your kids in my first grade class!  I received my Bachelors in Education from Ottawa University and my Masters in Education from Baker University.

My family lives in Kansas City, Kansas, and I attend church at St. Joseph's in Shawnee.  I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending time with my family.

I love teaching, and I am thrilled to be at Sacred Heart!  First graders are so excited about coming to school, learning, and they are so  eager to share what they have learned.  I am very excited about the progress they will make this year, and I can't wait for you to share the experience with your children!
