Opportunities in Community
Please Note:
- This is not a complete list of agencies that need your
help, but a start for some ideas.
- When contacting an organization below, ask for the Volunteer
Coordinator. They will assist you in setting up your service
work. The following agencies have volunteer opportunities
for young people as long as they are properly supervised
(accompanied by an adult).
- Consider using days off from school (school holidays OR
summer months) to do your service work. The weekends are
often difficult due to program closings or too many volunteers.
