New Principal Announcement
Dear Sacred Heart Parents:
Lenten greetings of P E
A C E !
This past month has been
tumultuous for us at Sacred Heart. I would like to take this
opportunity to thank Mr. Altman for his past six years of
service as principal. I ask that you partner with me at this
time to put aside our past hurts and differences for the good
of our students and parish community.
The interviewing process
for our new principal has been completed, and after a phone
call with Dr. Kathy O'Hara I am pleased to announce our new
principal for Sacred Heart School. It is with prayer and great
confidence that we have chosen Mr. Nick Antista who will journey
with us into the next phase of our parish school. A time will
be set up in the near future for the faculty and staff to
meet with Mr. Antista in one of the church meeting rooms after
school. As soon as I have a chance to visit with PTO a time
will be set aside for you to meet with Mr. Antista informally
in the Multi Purpose Center before the end of this school
year. We will also set up a temporary office for Mr. Antista
in the church to give our faculty the opportunity to meet
with him during their planning period, or after school to
discuss any individual needs or concerns they may have for
the 2006 - 2007 academic year. Mr. Antista will also be interviewing
new faculty members this month with me and a teacher representative.
Please keep in mind Mr.
Atlman is the school principal for the remainder of this year,
and all questions pertaining to this academic year should
be addressed to either Mark or myself.
With a promise of prayer
as we journey during this Lenten Season to the Easter Sacraments
and the promise of new hope and life in the Resurrection of
Jesus Christ.
