Sacred Heart Students Earn
Presidential School Volunteer Service Award

of Presidential School of Volunteer Service Award at the Kauffman

On Wednesday, May 26th, at 9:45 a.m., Assistant
Superintendent of Catholic Schools, Karla Leibham, and Dennis
Barnett of the Greater Kansas City Youth Service Alliance,
will be presenting to Sacred Heart Catholic School in Shawnee
the Presidential School of Volunteer Service Award. Individual
volunteer service awards will be presented at this time, also.
Only five percent of a school's student
body must earn 50 hours or more of community service for the
school to receive the Presidential School of Service Award.
Sacred Heart went above and beyond with nearly twenty
percent of the student body reaching 50 hours or more
of community service this school year!
