Fourth Graders Answer Tsunami
Children's Cry for Help
The students in Sacred Heart’s 4th
grade class were deeply moved by the plight of the children
who were affected by the recent disastrous tsunamis. The fourth
graders returned from their Christmas break asking if they
could do something to raise money for these children. One
student said he found out that $10 could feed a child for
one month.
With that in mind, the students voted on
holding a bake sale with all proceeds being directed to aid
for the children. Students found motivation for their cause
in the Bible. "When they cried out for help, you saved them
and did not let them down when they depended on you”
(Psalm 22:5)
